12/2011 - Adopted Christmas Family Day View

We've done it once again. We blew the roof off two families homes with Christmas gifts and cheer. NCWS would like to thank Santa Clause as well as the two Firestations at Camp Pendleton for lending a hand. It was, yet again, a Christmas we'll never forget. 9/17/2011 - Warrior Appreciation Cruise View

What an awesome experience for everyone. Nothing but hot rods and smiles as far as the eye could see. We really enjoyed showing our appreciation to the Wounded Warriors!

7/2011 - Thanksgiving in July View

On Saturday, July 16th 2011, we had our biggest event ever! We had over 40 cars in the car show and our largest attendance to date. Thank you to the Oceanside Elk's Lodge for allowing us to host this huge event.

VISION

We are a recognized non-profit charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of enlisted military personnel.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the North County Warriors is to offer automotive mechanical repair to qualified deployed and non-deployed military families, to develop community awareness about the program and to support selected military families throughout the holidays.

MISSION GOALS

Daily operations:

Provide repairs to selected disabled vehicles of military personnel, (E5 or less) at no charge.

Maintain a food bank for “in need” military families.

Direct donated major appliances to families in need.

Community Awareness:

Maintain a Quarterly Newsletter (print & e-mail).

Maintain an up-to-date web site.

Increase public awareness of North County Warriors Support Program.

Increase membership in fund raising efforts.

Holiday Support:

Provide a Christmas Celebration for selected military families.

Develop a community wide “Adopt a Marine for Thanksgiving” Program

Establish a “Say Thanks by Giving to military families” food program for Thanksgiving.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1a. Member businesses have supplied the parts and labor at cost or at no charge for over 150 repairs valued at over $300,000 since inception in 2003.

1b. NCWS Members have covered any incurred cost of repairs not covered by member business.

2a. Members have performed food collection efforts to collect donated food.

About the North County Warriors

In March of 2003, North County Warrior Support was formed to assist the military families of those deployed who need mechanical help.

This group consists of businesses that supply necessary parts at cost, or at no charge at all, along with other businesses that supply the necessary labor to complete the work, also at no charge. We have a list of individuals who have graciously volunteered to contribute when called upon to pay for parts necessary to complete the job.

To date we have completed over 150 repairs, at no charge to the military families. The value of these services to date exceeds $300,000.

As our young military members protect our freedom around the world, often the families they leave behind need our help in many ways. We have expanded our assistance to include collecting non - perishable food and goods.

We are blessed with our freedom because there are those who risk everything to protect those freedoms. Join us in saying “thank you” by being part of North County Warrior Support Group.
